Therapy is an investment in your life, health, relationships, family, and future.

At the end of the month, I will provide you with a document called a Superbill, which you can send in to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Did you know that most insurance has out-of-network benefits?

This means they will reimburse you for your therapy after you have paid your therapist. This gives you the autonomy to choose a therapist outside your insurance network. Please ask me about this during your free consultation call. I value making therapy accessible.

Insurance requires a medical diagnosis and medical necessity to cover the cost of therapy. With therapy, a medical diagnosis is not always necessary, and insurance places restrictions on how many sessions you can attend and for how long. Please note that your confidentiality is not always assured if you choose to use insurance for therapy sessions, as insurance companies reserve the right to review notes.

EMDR is a highly specialized approach and is booked for a longer time. EMDR intensives require preparation, active engagement in the process, and the opportunity to debrief following the intervention. Because this does not fit within the scope of what insurance companies will reimburse, EMDR intensives are not covered by insurance.
