Anxiety Therapy for Women in Katy, TX
Find Relief From Overthinking, Self-Doubt, and the Pressure to Do It All
On the outside, you may look like you have everything together. You're responsible, capable, and the person others depend on.
But on the inside, your mind rarely slows down.
You replay conversations, worry about disappointing people, question your decisions, and feel pressure to get everything right. Even when life is going well, it's difficult to relax.
Maybe you're exhausted from trying to keep everyone happy. Maybe you're tired of second-guessing yourself or feeling like you're never doing enough.
You don't have to keep carrying all of this alone.
At Inner Life Therapy, I help women in Katy, Texas, navigate anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-doubt so they can feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves.
Does This Sound Familiar?
You may seem to have everything under control, yet inside you're struggling with constant worry, self-doubt, or the pressure to meet everyone's expectations.
Maybe you recognize yourself in some of these experiences:
You replay conversations in your head, wondering if you said the wrong thing.
You find yourself saying yes when you really want to say no.
You worry about disappointing others or being misunderstood.
You hold yourself to impossibly high standards.
You feel guilty when you take time for yourself.
You struggle to relax because your mind is always thinking about what needs to be done.
You question your decisions, even when you know what you want.
You feel emotionally exhausted from trying to keep everyone happy.
Over time, these patterns can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, and unsure how to make things different.
Therapy can help you understand these patterns, develop healthier boundaries, and begin feeling more confident in yourself and your decisions.
How Anxiety Therapy Can Help
Anxiety doesn't always look like panic attacks or constant worry. Sometimes it shows up as perfectionism, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling responsible for everyone else's happiness.
You may have spent years putting other people's needs ahead of your own, questioning your decisions, or feeling like you're never quite doing enough.
Therapy offers a supportive space to explore these patterns, understand where they come from, and begin developing healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
Through our work together, you can begin to:
Recognize and manage anxious thoughts.
Set boundaries without overwhelming guilt.
Reduce the pressure to be perfect.
Understand and change people-pleasing patterns.
Build greater confidence in your decisions.
Develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Feel more grounded and emotionally balanced.
You don't have to become a different person to feel better. Therapy can help you reconnect with who you are beneath the expectations, responsibilities, and pressure you've been carrying.
My Approach to Anxiety Therapy
I'm Anita Webster, LCSW, and I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported—without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
My approach goes beyond simply managing symptoms. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns that may be contributing to your anxiety.
I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach that may include EMDR, somatic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other therapeutic techniques tailored to your individual needs.
Our work may focus on understanding the roots of perfectionism, building healthier boundaries, reducing self-criticism, and helping you develop greater trust in yourself.
For clients who wish to incorporate their Christian faith into therapy, I also offer the opportunity to thoughtfully integrate faith and spirituality into our work.
My goal is to help you move beyond simply getting through each day toward feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself.
